About the Role
You'll manage projects from estimate through completion, working directly with contractors, clients, and our field teams. This role reports directly to company leadership and offers real ownership over your projects, from the first estimate to the final walkthrough.
What You'll Do
- Prepare detailed plumbing estimates for service, remodel, special project, and smaller construction jobs
- Manage projects from start to finish, including identifying and processing change orders in a timely manner
- Communicate regularly with contractors and clients
- Procure materials and equipment at or under budget
- Read and interpret contracts, construction documents, and plans; create layouts and design project work
- Conduct site visits as needed
- Write clear, detailed scope proposals
What You Bring
- 5-10 years of practical experience in plumbing estimating and/or project management
- Strong working knowledge of plumbing and mechanical systems and materials
- Familiarity with plumbing codes and applicable state regulations
- Strong computer skills, including MS Office Suite; industry-specific software experience is a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Clean driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent required; professional licenses/certifications a plus
Schedule
Full-time, exempt, first shift, generally Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week, with additional hours as needed to meet deadlines. Work is split between office/computer time and field site visits.
