Family Support Coordinator Job Description/Skills : Quarterly in-home visits (virtual until restrictions are lifted) • Planning, scheduling, coordinating and writing assessments • Researching, accessing, and linking to other community resources • Maintain approved caseload size • Must have reliable transportation and willing to travel during the day to outlying parishes • Must be able to multi-task • Must have a positive and professional caring attitude toward others • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills • Must demonstrate excellent time management and coordination abilities • Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Software (Word, Excel) • Must be a team player • Must demonstrate problem-solving and decision-making skill
Education:
- Bachelors Degree- Criminal Justice, Psychology, Sociology, Social Work or a related Human Service degree from an accredited college or university
- One year of paid experience in the human-service-related field providing direct services or case management services desired'
