Assists the Family Store Manager in planning, administering, monitoring, and evaluating the day-to-day warehouse operations of a small Family Store with a limited staff ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures; processes, displays, and prices donated items to ensure a maximum financial return on the sale of store items; assists customers in a polite and friendly manner; serves as a supervisor and/or lead worker to assigned volunteers and/or subordinate store personnel; in the absence of the Family Store Manager and Assistant Family Store Manager, assumes all functions.

Physical Requirements

Ability to meet attendance requirements.

Ability to read, write and communicate the English language effectively.

Duties are performed by frequent walking and/or standing, kneeling or squatting relieved by lesser periods of sitting or operating a vehicle.

Moderate amount of physical effort required associated with walking, standing, lifting and carrying moderately heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.)
Education and Experience:
-
High School diploma or G.E.D.

Two years’ experience in a warehouse environment with one-year supervisory experience preferred,

or
-
any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
