Responsibilities
- Engage with guests to understand their preferences and recommend drinks or food pairings to enhance their experience
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the server areas, ensuring compliance with food safety standards and sanitation protocols
- Process cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Toast.
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, particularly in fine dining or hospitality settings
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing transactions accurately
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, retail math understanding, and food industry calculations
