Assignment Length: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
We are seeking an experienced Radiation Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment in Philadelphia, PA. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of recent radiation therapy experience and be committed to delivering safe, accurate, and compassionate patient care in a fast-paced oncology environment.
- Administer prescribed radiation therapy treatments according to physician directives.
- Position patients accurately and safely for treatment procedures.
- Operate and monitor radiation therapy equipment.
- Review treatment plans and verify patient information prior to treatment.
- Monitor patients during treatment and respond to any concerns or complications.
- Document treatment sessions accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Collaborate with radiation oncologists, medical physicists, dosimetrists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain compliance with radiation safety standards and departmental policies.
- Perform routine quality assurance and equipment checks as required.
- Provide compassionate patient education and emotional support throughout the treatment process.
- Minimum 2 years of recent Radiation Therapist experience.
- Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in Radiation Therapy [ARRT(T)] – Required.
- Current state licensure (if applicable).
- Current BLS certification (preferred if required by facility).
- Strong knowledge of radiation therapy procedures, safety protocols, and oncology patient care.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and patient care skills.
