Fres-co System USA, Inc., a Goglio Group Company, is a privately held Company founded in 1978. With a mission to be the recognized leader in flexible packaging systems, Fres-co supplies not only packaging material and plastic components, but also packaging equipment and service. The Company operates two manufacturing facilities, one in Telford, Pennsylvania (Corporate Office) and one in Red Oak, Iowa. This position is located in Telford, PA.
We are seeking an experienced People & Culture Generalist for our corporate office in Telford, PA.
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from job posting to offer acceptance.
Partner with hiring managers to fill open positions efficiently.
Facilitate onboarding and orientation for new hires.
Attend career fairs and industry events.
Track and report recruitment metrics to continuously improve our hiring process.
Coordinates the administration of employee benefits, which includes but is not limited to health, dental, life, disability, HSA/FSA, and the EAP.
- Administers Family Medical Leave Act, ADA, Personal LOA, and Paid Parental LOA.
- Administers the 401(k) plan.
- Will assist with the processing of payroll in UKG as needed.
- Serves as a point of contact for employees on routine matters related to company programs, policies, and practices and ensures employee understanding and compliance with HR policies and regulations.
- Assists with special projects relating to performance management, employee relations, policies & procedures, engagement initiatives/programs, etc.
Maintains employee records, ensuring completion and accuracy of details such as employee contact information, job classification, pay rates, organizational structure, and other key details.
- Ensures annual compliance (e.g. labor law posters, standard operating procedures, etc.).
Conducts or assists with record audits and mandatory reports, which may include I-9 audits, EEO-1 filings, benefit enrollment audits, and other compliance reviews.
Performs administrative and recordkeeping tasks related to staffing changes, which may include layoffs, resignations, terminations, and extended leaves of absence.

- Bachelors’ Degree in Human Resources, Business/Business Administration or Psychology preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of HR experience in a Generalist or Generalist capacity in a manufacturing environment (preferred) with a focus on full cycle recruiting and benefits administration, FMLA, ADA, 401k.
- SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential preferred.
- Minimum 3-5 years HRIS experience required, specifically UKG Pro and UKG Workforce Mgt.
- Working knowledge of other HR data systems required (Applicant Tracking Systems, Indeed, LinkedIn, etc.).
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills with impeccable attention to detail.
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality and with all levels of the organization.
- Must possess a high degree of energy, sense of urgency and customer service orientation.
- Must be able to maintain confidential information, work independently and in a team environment.
