Litigation Paralegal
Position Overview
Colón Law Firm is hiring a Litigation Paralegal to support our litigation practice by preparing legal documents, managing case files, conducting legal research, and coordinating court filings from case initiation through resolution. This role requires substantive litigation experience: you will draft motions and pleadings, apply court rules and procedures, and conduct legal research as core functions, performed with a high degree of independence. Your responsibilities include managing attorney court calendars so attorneys stay aware of and prepared for upcoming dates, participating in or leading client intake for detained matters, and coordinating with clients on the documents needed, collected, and processed throughout their cases. This role calls for a self-starter who takes initiative and identifies what needs to be done without waiting for direction. The practice is process-driven and deadline-sensitive, and the client base is bilingual; professional fluency in English and Spanish is strongly preferred.
