Responsibilities
- Assist in measuring, cutting, and installing various types of insulation materials according to blueprint specifications and project requirements
- Use hand tools, power tools, and scaffolding safely to perform tasks such as caulking, trim carpentry, and stucco application on building exteriors
- Climb ladders and scaffolding confidently while adhering strictly to safety protocols to reach high or hard-to-access areas
- Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to follow detailed installation instructions accurately
- Apply weatherproofing techniques including caulking, sealing gaps, and installing flashing to prevent air leaks and water intrusion
- Support the fabrication of custom components using metal stud framing, masonry, or other construction materials as needed
- Follow safety procedures diligently when operating power tools such as airless paint sprayers or other equipment to ensure a secure work environment
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding project progress or technical details when necessary
Qualifications
- Prior construction site experience or background in related trades such as carpentry, masonry, or painting is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with construction estimating, blueprint reading, and interpreting schematics enhances your effectiveness on the job
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, ladders, and scaffolding safely and confidently is essential
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and understanding technical drawings are necessary
- Mechanical knowledge or experience with fabrication processes adds value to your role
- Strong adherence to safety protocols related to ladder use, power tool operation, fall prevention, and site safety standards
- Willingness to learn new skills such as airless paint spraying or advanced insulation techniques is highly encouraged
