Behavioral Health Technician (BHT)/ Mental Health Tech
Beachside Rehab is an innovative private substance abuse treatment facility in West Palm Beach. We are looking to hire full time Behavioral Health Techs who is able to work weekdays 7am-7pm. Seeking FT applicants for dayshift. Must be able to pass Level 2 background screening.
Job Duties:
- BHT understands and maintains confidentiality of client information and records.
- BHT documents client information.
- BHT ensures clients attend scheduled activities.
- BHT provides the appropriate help during emergency situations.
- BHT builds positive relationships with staff.
- BHT provides a safe, therapeutic environment for staff and clients.
- BHT Facilitates client’s rules and responsibilities.
- BHT reports noncompliance to clinical staff.
Requirements:
- A minimum of one (1) year working experience in mental/behavioral health and/or substance abuse.
- Ability to communicate written and verbally in a professional manner.
- Must maintain a valid Florida driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Must have or be able to get CPR and First Aid certification within 60 days of hire.
- Will be required to pass a level 2 background screen.
