Compensation: $35-$45/per hour depending on experience

Job Description:
MMR is seeking BIM Coordinator candidates. A BIM coordinator oversees the implementation and coordination of BIM processes across various construction projects. This position focuses on managing and maintaining digital models, ensuring that the BIM team adheres to project and company standards. The BIM coordinator is responsible for meeting coordination/construction schedule dates by communicating with other project teams to produce an organized, clash free model. The responsibilities would include, but not limited to, the following:
- Coordinate and manage the development, maintenance, and updating of BIM models for assigned projects.
- Facilitate regular internal BIM coordination meetings to ensure effective communication among project teams to address any model related issues.
- Organize and manage project data, including 3D models, drawings, and other project documentation.
- Attend client coordination meetings as the MMR BIM subject matter expert to resolve conflicts between different disciplines in the BIM model.
- Serve as the point of contact for all BIM related communications between general contractor or internal project team.
- Perform quality control checks on all BIM project deliverables.
- Provide guidance to BIM technicians and other team members.
- Assist the BIM Manager in monitoring project progress and BIM deliverables.
- Proficient in all BIM software and processes (Revit, Navisworks, ACC, Laser Scan data).
Education, Experience, Certification, License, and Skill Requirements:
- Associate's degree; industry experience using Autodesk Software (Revit, Navisworks, ACC, etc); experience with attending and leading BIM coordination meetings; willing to accept further training as required.
- Must have experience working as a BIM Coordinator, Detailer, or Modeler.
- Proficient in MEP REVIT
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Working knowledge of general construction, electrical parts and their intended use.
- Strong verbal skills to effectively communicate with team members, engineers, and contractors.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and technical documents.
- Familiarity with BIM terminology.
- Ability to perform calculations for measurements, scaling, and unit conversions.
- Ability to interpret and analyze numerical data related to the BIM model.
- Ability to identify and resolve issues in models or drawings.
- Ensure accuracy and precision in models, drawings, and documentation.
- Ability to write clear and concise emails, reports, and documentation. Also, create and annotate technical drawings, specifications, and project notes.
- Willingness to work flexible hours as needed including evenings and weekends
- Strong Computer skills and aptitude for learning.
- Detail oriented, able to recognize errors quickly.
- Excellent communication skills and a proven ability to juggle multiple high priority tasks.
- Ability to effectively solve problems.
- Must have the mental capacity to understand and apply job-related concepts, technologies, instructions, procedures, computer and software operations, input data and create/annotate drawings with a very high degree of accuracy on a consistent basis with high throughput and minimum supervision.
