Job Description
Proof Pest Control is a family-owned local pest control company. We are
searching for a dependable Pest Control Technician to help our clients identify and get
rid of various pests.
Responsibilities
Inspect buildings and premises for signs of pests or infestation
Determine the type of treatment needed to eliminate pests
Use baits and set traps to remove or kill pests
Apply pesticides in and around buildings and other structures as instructed on
the label
Design and carry out pest management plans
Use equipment such as sprayers, dust applicators, or fumigators to control or kill
pests
Drive light-duty trucks equipped with power spraying equipment
Document services provided, chemicals used, and advice given to customers
Use appropriate safety equipment and protective clothing to prevent exposure to
pesticides
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED (preferred)
Must be 21 years or older
Valid driver’s license for at least 3 years
Experience in a route based business
Strong verbal communication skills
Attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to handle physical workload carry up to 50lbs
Comfortability with working in various conditions, including heat and confined
spaces
State licensure for pest control (preferred)
