Job Summary

Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, providing excellent customer service and personalized recommendations.
- Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders accurately and efficiently.
- Handle cash transactions with accuracy, including cash handling, cashiering, and basic math calculations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling standards at all times.
- Restock supplies, garnishes, glassware, and beverages to ensure the bar is fully prepared for service.
- Collaborate with team members during busy hours, including catering events, banquets, or nightclub shifts, to deliver seamless service.
- Follow all food safety regulations and alcohol service laws to promote responsible serving practices.
- Assist in training new staff members on POS systems like Micros or Aloha POS and proper serving procedures.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a bartender in a restaurant, nightclub, or banquet environment; fine dining experience is a plus.
- Proficiency with POS systems such as TOAST
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during high-volume service periods.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques.
- Ability to serve alcohol responsibly in compliance with legal requirements; experience in responsible beverage service is advantageous.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, sales calculations, and retail math scenarios.
- Experience working in the food industry or hospitality sector; catering or banquet experience is beneficial.
