Duties
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming and mobility support
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal planning and cooking
- Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning, laundry, and organization of living spaces
- Observe and document changes in client behavior or health status; communicate updates to healthcare teams or family members
Skills
- Proven experience in home health, assisted living, nursing homes, or group home settings with a focus on senior or disability care
- Knowledge of dementia, Alzheimer's care, memory care, autism support, and hospice care best practices
- Strong understanding of HIPPAA regulations to ensrue client confidentiality at all times
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities requiring specialized support
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with healthcare professionals, families, and clients to develop personalized care plans
