Overview
We are seeking a creative. passionate and EXPERIENCED Floral Designer WITH MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in floral design and a flair for creating stunning arrangements that meet customer needs. This role involves working closely with customers to understand their preferences and providing exceptional service while managing the retail aspects of the floral shop. Candidate must be PUNCTUAL, RELIABLE AND EXPEREINCED.
Duties
- Design and create floral arrangements for various occasions, including weddings, funerals, and special events.
- Assist customers in selecting flowers and arrangements that suit their needs and preferences.
- Maintain an organized display of flowers and plants, ensuring freshness and quality.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems, including cash handling and retail math.
- Manage inventory levels, placing orders as necessary to ensure availability of popular items, along with managing the day to day operations of the shop.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and offering gardening advice when needed.
- Promote e-commerce sales through online platforms, ensuring timely fulfillment of orders.
Skills
- Proficiency in floral design techniques and an eye for aesthetics.
- Experience in retail sales with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Familiarity with POS systems for efficient transaction processing.
- Strong communication skills in English to interact effectively with customers and team members.
- Ability to perform basic retail math for accurate pricing and inventory management.
- Experience in cash handling procedures to ensure financial accuracy.
