Holy Spirit Catholic School and Parish is looking to hire a full-time Maintenance Coordinator to oversee maintenance procedures, repairs and upkeep operations of all the buildings and grounds of both our Darboy and Kimberly Campuses. This position will also be responsible to:
- Create and implement maintenance procedures and schedules for preventative maintenance of buildings and equipment
- Monitor equipment and supply inventory and place orders as needed
- Monitor the budget for maintenance and janitorial needs ensuring that the best physical resources areavailable to complete necessary tasks as allowed by the current budget
- Manage relationships with contractors and service providers
- Secure estimates and bids as needed for major maintenance projects
- Communicate with and coordinate tasks with other janitorial/maintenance employees on a regularbasis
- Coordinate volunteers for areas of maintenance when practical
- Inspect property and equipment
- Ensure health and safety policies are in place
- Perform tasks as needed to include but not limited to cleaning and repairing any areas and equipmentas needed
- Coordinate maintenance departments involvement in activities
- While it is the maintenance coordinator role to lead, guide and supervise, it is also required that he/she be willing to do tasks as well and come alongside others as needed. Servant leadership has a great impact on those you will be leading.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate would have maintenance experience, specifically in a school and/or parish setting.This person should have experience managing adults, have exceptional communication skills,organization and multi-tasking abilities.
This position requires completion of the VIRTUS Safe Environment Training and Background Check.
Pay: From $45,000.00 per year
