Sevn Workforce Solutions is hiring a School Psychologist for a full school year assignment with L'Anse Creuse Public Schools in Clinton Township, Michigan (Metro Detroit / Macomb County). This is a W-2 position with weekly pay, guaranteed hours, and full benefits from day one. Whether you live in the Detroit metro or you're ready to travel, we have a package built for you.
The Assignment
- District: L'Anse Creuse Public Schools, Clinton Township, MI
- Term: 2026-2027 school year (approx. late August 2026 through mid-June 2027)
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, full-time, following the district calendar (school breaks and holidays off)
- Setting: K-12; caseload and building assignments discussed at interview
- Start: August 2026 (earlier onboarding available)
CompensationLocal Package (within ~50 miles)
- $65 – $75 per hour (W-2, based on experience)
- Guaranteed weekly hours — you're paid for your full contracted schedule
- Weekly direct deposit — no waiting on district payroll cycles
- Paid onboarding, credentialing, and licensure reimbursement
Travel Package (50+ miles / relocating for the year)
- Up to $2,750 per week gross, structured as:
- Taxable hourly base
- Tax-free housing stipend and meals & incidentals stipend at the maximum allowable GSA rate for Macomb County (for qualified travelers maintaining a tax home)
- Guaranteed hours for the full contract term
- Licensing assistance and reimbursement for Michigan credentialing

What You'll Do
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and re-evaluations to determine special education eligibility
- Participate in IEP, MTSS, and Section 504 meetings as a core team member
- Provide consultation to teachers, administrators, and families
- Support behavior intervention planning and crisis response
- Deliver counseling and social-emotional support services as assigned
Requirements
- Specialist-level degree (Ed.S., M.A./M.S. + CAGS, Psy.D., or Ph.D.) in School Psychology
- Michigan School Psychologist Certificate through MDE (or eligibility — we assist with reciprocity and application)
- NCSP credential a plus, not required
- New graduates welcome; supervision support available
