Our sister Company Irrigation Works & Outdoor Lighting is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Irrigation Technician to join our team. This position involves installing, maintaining, and repairing high-quality irrigation systems for both residential and commercial properties, ensuring precision and attention to detail in every step of the process. The ideal candidate will have experience working with irrigation equipment, knowledge of system layouts, and troubleshooting techniques. Pay Range: $22.00 - $33.00 per hour, contingent on experience

Duties / Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair irrigation systems, including controllers, timers, valves, sprinklers, and pumps
- Perform routine inspections to ensure systems are operating efficiently and effectively
- Troubleshoot and repair malfunctions in irrigation systems
- Adjust and reprogram irrigation schedules based on weather conditions, plant needs, and system performance
- Follow water management practices to minimize waste and maximize efficiency
- Assist with seasonal start-ups, winterization, and spring activations of irrigation systems
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining system functions and maintenance needs
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used
- Collaborate with landscaping and maintenance teams for seamless project execution
- Perform other duties as assigned while mastering the irrigation trade
Qualifications / Experience:
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record for the past 3 years required
- 2 or more years of experience in irrigation installation and maintenance is required
- Ohio backflow test certification is preferred
- Knowledge of irrigation systems, including controllers, pumps, and various sprinkler types
- Experience or interest in water conservation practices is beneficial
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift or move up to 50 lbs
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and terrains
- Willingness to stand, bend, kneel, and perform physical tasks for extended periods
