Job Summary
Summit Staffing is seeking dependable and detail-oriented Picker/Packer Associates for a large distribution facility in Plainfield, IN. These are full-time, temp-to-hire opportunities with competitive pay, consistent scheduling, and the potential for long-term employment. Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment and motivated to meet performance and accuracy goals.
Responsibilities
- Pick, pack, and prepare products for shipment using a voice/headset system
- Accurately follow order instructions and maintain productivity standards
- Inspect products for quality and accuracy before packing
- Operate pallet jacks or other basic warehouse equipment (training provided, if needed)
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in work areas
- Follow safety protocols and company policies at all times
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals
Shifts Available
- 1st Shift: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM | Monday–Friday
Qualifications
- Ability to read and write in English
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 40 lbs. for the entire shift
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Must successfully pass a 7-year background check
- Previous warehouse, order fulfillment, or distribution experience is a plus, but not required
