- To begin with the 2025-2026 School Year
- Pay based upon Transportation Contract
Qualifications
The position of a Bus Driver requires that the individual assume responsibility for the safe transportation of students. The successful applicant should possess the following personal and professional qualities:
- Class B CDL License with Passenger and Bus endorsements
- State of Michigan Department of Education Bus Driver Certification
- Good physical condition (required by law to pass a physical)
- Caring individual, positive experience with students
- Dependable
- Excellent proven driving skills
- Be alert and exercise good judgment
- Exhibit a positive image as a loyal representative of the school district
- Ability to supervise students in stressful situations
- Have the ability to establish favorable working relationships with administration, other drivers, maintenance personnel, teachers and students and is a team player
The District will provide training and cover the cost of a CDL for those who do not have one.
