Job description- Personal Banker
Summary
The Personal Banker position will efficiently process a variety of customer transactions, while providing the highest level of service. They will create meaningful relationships with new clients while strengthening relationships with existing clients. A strong work ethic, commitment to accuracy and confidentiality are required.
Essential Functions
- Engages clients promptly as they come into the branch in a warm and friendly manner making them feel welcome and valued.
- Assists in managing lobby flow by directing clients to who can assist in their needs.
- Open new personal and business accounts while promoting the banks products and services.
- Process wire transactions in a timely, efficient, detail-oriented manner.
- Processes general account maintenance including but not limited to, change of address, changing phone numbers or emails, and debit card maintenance.
- Become the expert in all of the things that Bank7 has to offer so that they can promote them to our clients.
- Assist on the teller line and maintain a personal balanced cash drawer.
- Respond to customer inquiries and concerns; researching and identifying solutions
- Cooperate with other office staff to answer company phones.
Required Skills/Abilities
- Excellent customer service skills, including verbal and written communication skills.
- Adhere to the banks policies and procedures.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Adobe Acrobat
- Time-management and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to effectively contribute to a positive team environment
- Careful attention to detail.
- Strong work ethic and high integrity
- Strong computer and 10 key skills
Education and Experience
- 3+ years in financial services or retail/business banking
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or equivalent training preferred.
