Full Job Description

Are you looking for a meaningful career providing HOPE and HEALING through therapy for children and families in crisis. 4KIDS is seeking a full-time Therapist who is passionate about integrating their clinical skills with their Christian faith to support children in crisis.

Responsibilities:

Conduct individual and family therapy sessions
Develop and implement treatment plans
Collaborate with social workers and other mental health professionals
Provide crisis intervention services as needed
Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records
Trains and supports parents in the EPIC/TBRI approach
Assesses the needs of and develops a behavioral plan for 4KIDS clients and their parents/guardians
Counsels and consults with parents on status of child's progress
Participate in team meetings and case conferences

Requirements:

Master's degree in counseling, social work, or related field
Must be licensed in the state of Florida
Experience working with individuals and families in foster care
Experience working with children and families affected by trauma
Knowledge of evidence-based therapy practices
Availability to work evenings as needed to provide therapy
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
