The brand-new Hyatt House Destin is an upscale, all-suite, full-service hotel.We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Housekeeper to join our team and ensure our residential or commercial spaces are spotless, comfortable, and welcoming. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards across various environments, providing exceptional customer service, and creating a pristine atmosphere for residents, guests, or clients. Your attention to detail and proactive approach will help uphold the highest standards of hygiene and orderliness, making every space shine.
Duties
- Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and polishing floors to maintain a spotless environment.
- Handle laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items efficiently.
- Conduct detailed sanitation procedures in bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas to ensure health standards are met or exceeded.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing residents’ or guests’ needs promptly and professionally.
- Manage residential or commercial cleaning assignments with precision, including carpet cleaning and floor care using appropriate equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of all surfaces, fixtures, windows, and furniture to uphold aesthetic appeal.
- Assist with housekeeping management tasks such as inventory control of cleaning supplies and scheduling routine maintenance.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in janitorial work, custodial services, or hotel housekeeping is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation practices, and floor care methods.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy objects, standing for extended periods, and bending frequently.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and professional demeanor.
- Familiarity with residential cleaning tools and commercial cleaning equipment.
- Experience with laundry processes and stain removal techniques is a plus.

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
