Federal Contract Opportunity
Solvet is seeking ASCP-certified Clinical Laboratory Scientists/Medical Technologists to support the Wilmington VA Medical Center. This is an exciting opportunity to provide laboratory services for our nation's Veterans in a collaborative healthcare environment. The requirement includes multiple shifts.
Available Shifts

12:00 PM – 8:00 PM (Monday–Friday)
- 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM (Monday–Friday)
- 10:30 PM – 6:30 AM (Sunday night–Thursday night)
Responsibilities
-
Perform moderate and high complexity laboratory testing
- Operate and maintain laboratory instrumentation
- Perform quality control and quality assurance activities
- Evaluate specimens and validate results
- Troubleshoot equipment and testing issues
- Report critical values and maintain laboratory documentation
- Utilize the Laboratory Information System (LIS)
- Ensure compliance with CAP, CLIA, OSHA, and VA policies
Qualifications

ASCP Certification (MLS, MT, or CLS)
- Experience in hospital or clinical laboratory settings preferred
- Strong knowledge of chemistry, hematology, coagulation, urinalysis, and laboratory operations
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
