Our office is privately owned and growing. We are looking for a skilled bilingual RDA who can polish and place sealants in addition to regular assisting capabilities. Ability to assist in pedo office required, treatment presenting and office skills a major plus!
Job Description/Responsibilities:
- Ability to polish and place sealants in addition to regular assisting capabilities.
- Assist doctor with strong chairside assistance, thinking ahead for what is needed.
- Take, develop, and mount X-rays.
- Perform procedures in compliance with infection control policies and prepare operatories for patient treatment.
- Accurately and completely report and document status, care rendered, response to care, provider orders, and contacts with patients.
- Assist front desk staff when needed.
- Complete all direct and indirect care documentation in a timely manner and ensure patient records are current and complete.
- Attend daily patient care huddles and periodic informational huddles, meetings or planning sessions.
- Maintain all certification requirements for continuing education and best practices.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Current RDA
- 4+ years dental assisting in fast pace pedo office
- Experience placing sealants and polishing.
- Experience with OpenDental software
- Plus if you have experience in front office and/or treatment coordinating!
Languages:
- Both English + Spanish or Udru (or similar)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
