We're looking for an Operations Manager who thrives in a team environment, leads by example, and isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves.
This is not a "stand in the office" management position. We're looking for someone who can step into any role needed to keep the operation running smoothly.
Position Summary
The Operations Manager is responsible for supporting all day-to-day operations of the restaurant and brewery. This position works alongside both Front of House and Back of House teams to ensure an exceptional guest experience while maintaining high operational standards.
The ideal candidate is adaptable, dependable, and solutions-driven. Whether that means helping in the kitchen during a rush, washing dishes when someone calls out, bartending, running food, greeting guests, or coaching staff, this person understands that no job is beneath them. They lead through action and help build a culture where teamwork comes first.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily restaurant operations and ensure smooth service.
- Support both Front of House and Back of House teams as business demands.
- Jump into operational roles as needed, including dishwashing, food running, expo, serving, bartending, or basic kitchen support.
- Coach, motivate, and develop team members.
- Help hire, onboard, and train new employees.
- Maintain high standards of food quality, cleanliness, safety, and guest service.
- Assist with scheduling, labor management, and inventory.
- Resolve guest concerns quickly and professionally.
- Identify operational challenges and implement practical solutions.
- Ensure opening and closing procedures are completed to company standards.
- Work closely with ownership and department managers to improve efficiency and grow the business.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of restaurant management experience preferred.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Experience in both Front of House and Back of House operations is highly preferred.
- Ability to remain calm and organized in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable making decisions and solving problems independently.
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds and remain on your feet for extended periods.
