Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team and help create a clean, welcoming, and comfortable environment for our residents and guests. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of residential or commercial spaces, ensuring all areas are spotless, organized, and hygienic. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of living or working spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces to uphold cleanliness standards
- Handle laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or clothing items with care
- Maintain floor care through sweeping, mopping, polishing, and carpet cleaning to preserve a pristine appearance
- Prepare and serve light meals or snacks as needed, demonstrating basic cooking skills to enhance guest satisfaction
- Ensure all sanitation protocols are followed to promote a safe and healthy environment for residents and visitors
- Manage custodial tasks including trash removal, restocking supplies, and maintaining cleaning equipment in excellent condition
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing residents’ or guests’ requests promptly and professionally
Requirements
- Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning, janitorial work, or hotel housekeeping roles
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, and floor care methods
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, carpet cleaners, buffers, and steam cleaners effectively
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Basic cooking skills for preparing simple meals or snacks when required
- Experience with laundry services and handling delicate fabrics with care
- Familiarity with safety procedures related to cleaning chemicals and equipment use
