Advanced lactation consultant training. Two (2) to five (5) years of obstetrical registered nursing experience.
Required Certification/License/Registry:
Licensed as a registered nurse (RN) in accordance with Florida Statutes (F.S.), Title XXXII (Regulation of Professions and Occupations), Chapter 464 (Nursing), Part I (Nurse Practice Act) [includes multistate compact licensure].
Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC) credential from the Academy of Lactation Policy and Practice (ALPP).
International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) credential from the International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners (IBLCE) within one (1) year post-hire.
