Job Overview
Bellevue Pickleball Club is looking for energetic, responsible, and friendly Summer Camp Counselors to join our team. Counselors will help create a fun, safe, and welcoming camp experience for children while assisting with pickleball instruction, games, activities, lunch, and daily camp operations.Previous pickleball experience is helpful but not required. We are looking for team members who enjoy working with children, communicate well, and bring a positive attitude each day.Responsibilities
- Supervise campers and maintain a safe, positive environment.
- Assist coaches with beginner-friendly pickleball drills, games, and activities.
- Lead warm-ups, team-building activities, and recreational games.
- Help campers learn sportsmanship, teamwork, and basic pickleball skills.
- Monitor campers during lunch and scheduled breaks.
- Assist with camper check-in, check-out, court setup, and cleanup.
- Communicate professionally with campers, parents, coaches, and staff.
- Follow all Bellevue Pickleball Club safety procedures and camp policies.
Qualifications
- Must know how to play pickleball and understand the official rules of the game.
- Must be able to demonstrate basic pickleball skills and assist campers with drills, games, scoring, and court positioning.
- Enjoys working with children and participating in sports and physical activities.
- Responsible, dependable, patient, energetic, and enthusiastic.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Able to remain active and on your feet throughout the camp day.
- Previous experience with summer camps, childcare, coaching, teaching, or youth programs is preferred but not required.
- First Aid/CPR certification is preferred.
- Must meet all applicable age and employment requirements
