As a Dietary Cook at Evercare of Granite City, you will play a vital role in supporting the nutritional needs of our patients. Dietary Cook will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality meals that cater to individual patient needs and dietary requirements. Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook meals for patients and residents in accordance with their dietary needs and preferences
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to all safety and sanitation standards
- Collaborate with the dietary team to develop and implement meal plans that meet patient needs and preferences
- Assist with menu planning, ingredient ordering, and inventory management
- Ensure timely and efficient meal delivery and service
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff to ensure patient satisfaction and care
Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively with patients and staff
- Willingness to learn and adapt to changing priorities and workflows
