Maintenance Technician
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team at Fountains Rehabilitation at Mill Cove, a vibrant Senior Living Center in Jacksonville, Florida. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the overall maintenance and upkeep of our facilities, ensuring a comfortable and safe living environment for our residents.
Maintenance Technician Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on building systems, including plumbing, HVAC, and electrical systems
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failure and minimize downtime
- Respond to maintenance requests and prioritize tasks to ensure timely resolution
- Collaborate with other departments to address any issues or concerns
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and inventory of parts and supplies
- Participate in training programs to stay up-to-date on new techniques and technologies
Maintenance Technician Requirements:
- Prior experience in a maintenance role, preferably in a healthcare or senior living setting
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High school diploma or equivalent required
