The Refrigeration Install Technician is responsible for the installation of commerical equipment. This role ensures all systems are installed according to manufacturer specifications, local codes, and company standards while maintaining a high level of safety, quality, and professionalism.
Job Responsibilities
· Install commercial refrigeration equipment.
· Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, wiring, diagrams, and installation manuals.
· Run refrigerant piping (copper and brazing).
· Coordinate installation activities with project manager and general contractors.
· Follow all EPA regulations, safety procedures, and company policies.
· Maintain accurate job documentation.
· Communicate job status, issues, and completion details to supervisor.
· Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicles in safe working condition.
Skills and Qualifications
· High School diploma or GED required.
· 2+ years of commercial refrigeration or HVAC installation experience preferred but not required.
· EPA Certification is preferred but not required at start of job.
· Basic carpentry skills and knowledge of hand tools required.
· Ability to read and follow technical drawings and schematics.
· Valid driver’s license with exceptional driving record.
Work Environment
· Willingness to travel to commercial job sites in and out of PA.
· Standard business hours: occasional overtime as needed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
