We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Drywall Installer/Finisher to join our dynamic construction team. Duties
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install drywall panels according to project specifications and blueprints
- Finish drywall seams using taping, mudding, sanding, and texturing techniques to achieve a flawless surface
- Repair or replace damaged drywall sections efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards
- Apply caulking around joints, fixtures, and trim to ensure airtight and water-resistant finishes
- Install insulation, soundproofing materials, and other wall components as needed for project requirements
- Read schematics and blueprints accurately to determine layout and installation procedures
- Collaborate with carpenters, plasterers, painters, and other trades to ensure seamless project execution
- Perform drywall sanding, plastering, stucco application, and related finishing tasks with precision
- Assist with framing using metal studs or wood as necessary for wall construction
- Support restoration projects involving water damage remediation or mold removal by preparing surfaces appropriately
- Use hand tools and power equipment such as airless paint sprayers for finishing touches when required
Qualifications
- Proven experience in drywall installation and finishing within construction sites or remodeling projects
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings
- Skilled in plastering, taping, sanding, caulking, and trim carpentry techniques
- Familiarity with construction estimating processes and project planning is a plus
- Experience with water damage restoration or mold remediation is advantageous
- Ability to work safely at heights and in confined spaces while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of related trades such as plumbing, masonry, flooring installation, or painting enhances versatility
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to follow detailed instructions accurately
- Valid construction site experience demonstrating adherence to safety protocols
