Overview
We are seeking a skilled Sous Chef to join our team in a dynamic kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary arts and the ability to lead a team in delivering exceptional dining experiences.
Duties
- Oversee all aspects of food preparation and cooking in the kitchen
- Lead and supervise kitchen staff members
- Collaborate with management to plan and develop menus
- Ensure food quality meets established standards
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Assist in training new kitchen staff
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
Experience
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role
- Extensive knowledge of kitchen operations and procedures
- Strong understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Certification from a culinary school or relevant field is a plus
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $11.50 - $13.50 per hour
