Overview
Southern Response is in search of first class Structural Welders for a Construction Company in the Mobile, Al area. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding, particularly with Flux-Cored Arc Welding (FCAW), and possess mechanical knowledge to interpret schematics and work effectively on construction sites. This role involves working with various materials, including sheet metal and ductwork, while utilizing power tools and cranes to complete projects safely and efficiently.

Duties
- Perform welding tasks using FCAW techniques on structural components.
- Utilize power tools and equipment to assist in the assembly and installation of structures.
- Conduct inspections of welded joints to ensure quality and compliance with safety standards.
- Collaborate with team members on construction sites to ensure timely project completion.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues as they arise during the welding process.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Structural Welder or similar role in a construction environment.
- Proficiency in FCAW welding techniques and familiarity with other welding methods is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge
- Familiarity with power tools commonly used in welding and construction tasks.
