Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Building Maintenance professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and upkeep of our facilities. This role requires a strong understanding of facilities maintenance, including the ability to operate and maintain various systems and equipment. The Building Maintenance professional will play a crucial role in providing a safe and efficient environment for all occupants.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections of buildings and equipment to identify maintenance needs.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry work.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders and maintenance schedules.
- Fabricate components as necessary to repair or enhance building systems.
- Interpret schematics and blueprints to assist in troubleshooting issues.
- Work with maintenance staff and coordinate with external contractors when required.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests from tenants or staff.
- Assist in residential painting projects as needed to maintain aesthetic standards.
Requirements
- Experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
- Strong Work ethic and Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and minor carpentry.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical documents.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
