Job Title: Full-Time Food Service Worker Floater
Job Summary/Objective:
Prepares, produces, and serves a variety of foods according to recipes and assists in other related tasks in a designated food service production and/or service area. Food Service Floater is responsible for filling in when any food service worker is out and serves as back-up for on-site servers. Must be knowledgeable of all our current accounts and serving procedures for each account. While not covering for onsite servers, the Food Service Floater will work at our main kitchen in Bell Gardens.
Schedule: M-F Morning Schedule 6:00am -2:30pm (schedule may vary depending on where coverage is needed)

Education and Experience Preferred:
Methods of preparing and serving a variety of foods from fresh, canned, dry or frozen
Cleaning and sanitation methods used in a food service environment
Basic arithmetic (i.e. addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)
Basic English
Customer Service experience
ServSafe certified or willing to become
Paid food and beverage industry experience is preferred but not required
Safely lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds
POS System experience is preferred but not required
Driver’s license, clean driving record, and valid car insurance
Reliable transportation to and from school sites
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.47 - $19.00 per hour
