SUMMARY OF POSITION
The Senior Director of Commercial Operations leads business development, market expansion, and commercial strategy across key product lines. This role is responsible for driving go-to-market execution, optimizing sales and marketing performance, and identifying new growth opportunities, including expansion into non-core markets and emerging applications.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead business development and market expansion initiatives, including new applications and industries

Define and execute go-to-market strategies (pricing, segmentation, channels, positioning)

Develop and manage channel strategy, including distributors, partners, and direct sales

Establish and grow e-commerce/direct sales capabilities

Oversee sales operations, including CRM, pipeline reporting, forecasting, and performance metrics

Drive marketing strategy and execution across digital channels, campaigns, and industry events

Manage brand positioning and marketing collateral, ensuring consistency and effectiveness

Partner with Product Management and Engineering to align product strategy with market needs

Build and maintain relationships with key customers, partners, and industry stakeholders

Develop budgets and track performance against revenue and growth targets

Lead and manage internal staff and external vendors/agencies
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred

12–15+ years of experience in commercial, business development, or sales/marketing roles

5–8+ years of leadership experience

Proven success in go-to-market strategy, market expansion, and revenue growth

Experience with sales operations, CRM systems, and performance analytics

Background managing channel partners and cross-functional teams

Strong strategic, analytical, and communication skills

Experience in technical, industrial, or hardware-based industries preferred
