Job Overview
We are looking for an energetic and experienced General Manager to lead our retail operations with enthusiasm and strategic insight. In this role, you will oversee daily store activities, manage staff, and ensure that sales goals and customer satisfaction standards are consistently met. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the retail team, including hiring, training, and developing staff to ensure high performance and excellent customer service.
- Oversee daily store operations, including inventory management, merchandising, pricing strategies, and sales management.
- Manage payroll, bookkeeping, cash handling, and POS (Point of Sale) systems to ensure accurate financial transactions.
- Develop and implement operational procedures to optimize store efficiency and inventory control.
- Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, provide feedback, and foster a positive work environment.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate purchasing decisions and manage vendor relationships to ensure product availability and cost-effective procurement.
Skills
- Must have a minimum of 2 Years experience as a General Manger of a retail establishment.
- Strong negotiation skills for vendor relations and conflict resolution.
- Excellent employee orientation, interviewing, recruiting, and training abilities.
- Proficiency in POS systems, inventory management software, excel etc
- Demonstrated leadership in retail sales team management with experience in sales management and operational oversight.
- Effective managerial communication skills combined with organizational skills for shift management and team coordination.
- Knowledge of retail industry sales techniques, merchandising, pricing strategies, and inventory control practices.
