JOB DESCRIPTION — PART-TIME LINE COOK / COOK
High Tide Café | Pacifica, CA
High Tide Café is a community-focused, full-service café in Pacifica. We are seeking a reliable Part-Time Line Cook / Cook who takes pride in consistency, cleanliness, and teamwork. This role supports daily kitchen operations by preparing food to standard, maintaining an organized workstation, and contributing to a professional kitchen environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare and execute menu items according to established recipes and standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation throughout service
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and health department guidelines
- Communicate clearly with kitchen and front-of-house team members
- Work efficiently during busy service periods without cutting corners
- Assist with prep, stocking, and closing duties as needed
- Support a positive, respectful, and professional kitchen culture
QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous experience as a cook or line cook preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and consistency
- Reliable, punctual, and accountable
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs
- Food handler certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
