Your Mission as an Early Childhood Teacher
As a teacher at Wonderbees Learning Academy, you’ll play a critical role in creating a safe, loving, and engaging environment where children can learn, explore, and thrive. Success in this role means you will:
- Create joyful learning experiences – Foster a warm, nurturing classroom that supports children’s social, emotional, and academic development.
- Build strong relationships – Partner with families through clear communication, trust, and care for their children.
- Support school culture – Contribute positively to a collaborative, respectful, and mission-driven team environment.
- Ensure safety and compliance – Maintain a clean, safe classroom that meets Texas childcare licensing standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide daily care and instruction to children according to age-appropriate developmental standards.
- Implement lesson plans and activities that support early learning, play, and exploration.
- Maintain accurate attendance, daily reports, and required documentation.
- Supervise children at all times to ensure safety and well-being.
- Maintain classroom cleanliness, organization, and learning materials.
- Communicate regularly and professionally with families about their child’s day and progress.
- Collaborate with the Director and team members to continuously improve classroom practices.
Qualifications
- Must meet Texas childcare licensing requirements for an early childhood teacher.
- Experience working with young children in a childcare or early education setting preferred (but not required).
- Passion for early childhood development and nurturing young learners.
- Strong communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
- Reliable, professional, and committed to creating a safe and loving environment for children.
