Position Overview:
We’re seeking an experienced Automotive Technician to join our new Texas team. This position focuses on maintaining fleet vehicles and performing DOT and Texas state commercial inspections. You’ll play a key role in establishing our local presence and ensuring our high service standards are met from day one.
What You’ll Do:
- Perform fleet maintenance and repairs on gas and diesel vehicles
- Complete DOT commercial inspections and repairs
- Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems
- Maintain accurate service records and inspection reports
- Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations
What We’re Looking For:
- DOT Inspector Certification (or ability to obtain)
- 5+ years of experience as an automotive, diesel, or fleet technician
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- previous client facing experience is preferred
- ASE certifications (Automotive, Truck, or Diesel)
- Experience with fleet service software or maintenance tracking systems
- Previous experience in mobile or onsite fleet repair
