This is an every other weekend with possible week days. Sat & Sun. You will only be required 2 weekends a month. Bi-weekley pay. This is part time. You will work no less than 8hrs but not more than 12 in a shift.
Duties
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using manual handling techniques and patient transfer methods like Hoyer lifts when necessary
- Monitor and observe patients’ health status, including vital signs, medication administration, and overall condition, ensuring adherence to care plans and HIPAA regulations
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and assist with meal planning and preparation to promote health and well-being
- Provide companionship and emotional support, engaging clients in social activities and communication to enhance mental health
- Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and organizing personal spaces.
Requirements
- Proven experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments with a focus on geriatrics or disability support
- Strong knowledge of patient observation, monitoring vital signs, medication administration, and dementia or Alzheimer’s care
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism or intellectual disabilities support
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting, patient transfers using Hoyer lifts, and assisting with ADLs safely and effectively
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; additional certifications in hospice care or memory care are a plus
- Excellent communication skills for client interaction and collaboration with healthcare teams or social workers
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and privacy of client information
- Valid driver’s license preferred for providing personal transportation assistance when needed

Pay: Up to $21.60 per hour

Experience:
- Nursing assistant, or home health caregiver : 1 year (Required)
License/Certification:
