Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen and dining areas. This position is essential for ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are cleaned and sanitized promptly, allowing our chefs and staff to focus on delivering exceptional food service. A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to food safety are key attributes for success in this role.
Duties
- Operate dishwashing equipment to clean dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and ensure all items are properly sanitized.
- Assist in the organization of kitchen supplies and storage areas.
- Support kitchen staff by helping with food preparation as needed.
- Follow food handling and safety guidelines to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Clean floors, countertops, and other surfaces in the kitchen area as required.
- Participate in maintaining a safe and clean working environment.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with food handling practices is a plus.
- Experience working in a banquet or hotel environment is advantageous.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting.
- Strong teamwork skills with a willingness to help others in the culinary team.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills related to kitchen operations.
