The YMCA of Greater Richmond is looking for a positive role model to help plan programming, assist with center oversight, and supervise children in our after-school child care programs in the West End/Tuckahoe area of Richmond. The hours for this position are 1:30pm-6pm.

What You'll Do
As the Youth Development Center Director, you'll play a vital role in shaping high-quality programming and building strong relationships with children, families, staff, and school partners. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supervising and led on-site staff
- Creating a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for school-age children
- Building strong relationships with children and families and serving as a key point of communication
- Ensuring compliance with Virginia DOE licensing requirements and YMCA quality standards
- Managing site safety, equipment, and facilities
- Attending required child care trainings
What You Bring
We're looking for a confident, compassionate leader who is ready to make a difference. Ideal candidates will have:
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Experience leading groups of youth
- A positive, enthusiastic leadership style
- Virginia DOE licensing qualifications (college-level coursework in a related field or CDA required)
- Must be at least 21 years old
