We are a highly successful, fast-growing tree service company in North Georgia seeking a skilled and experienced Grapple Truck / Debris Hauler. This is a FULL-TIME position that is hands-on — you will actively operate the grapple crane, run chainsaws, and work directly with the crew on tree removal, trimming, storm cleanup, and debris hauling. Part-time hours are not available.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely drive and operate a Class A CDL grapple truck on residential and commercial jobs
- Operate the knuckleboom/grapple crane to load logs, brush, and debris
- Use chainsaws to cut, buck, and process trees and limbs on the ground
- Assist with tree felling support, storm debris cleanup, and site restoration
- Haul debris to landfills or processing sites
- Perform daily pre-trip inspections and basic equipment maintenance
- Follow all safety protocols and work collaboratively with the crew
Requirements:
- Valid CDL Class A license with strong driving record and experience
- Proven experience in tree service, forestry, or heavy equipment operation (grapple truck and chainsaw skills preferred)
- Strong safety record and professionalism
- Ability to work well with a crew and maintain a positive team environment
- Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Local to the Greater Metro Atlanta / North Georgia area
Compensation & Schedule:
- Full-time position — typically 6 days per week
- $1,800 per week ($300/day) or better with production incentives
- Christmas week and New Year’s week off every year
