Location: Miami-Dade & Broward County, FL
Pay: $30.00–$35.00 per hour (Based on Experience)
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Job Description
Pro Force Staffing is seeking experienced Steel Placement Laborers to support commercial shell construction projects throughout Miami-Dade and Broward County.
This position is responsible for placing, positioning, and securing reinforcing steel (rebar) prior to concrete placement while working alongside carpenters and concrete crews.
Responsibilities
- Place and tie reinforcing steel (rebar) according to project specifications.
- Position steel cages, mats, and reinforcing materials.
- Assist with layout and installation of reinforcing steel.
- Load, unload, and move construction materials.
- Maintain a safe and organized work area.
- Work efficiently with the construction crew to meet production goals.
- Follow all job site safety procedures.
Qualifications
- Previous experience placing reinforcing steel or working in shell construction required.
- Ability to read simple construction drawings is a plus.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must be willing to travel throughout Miami-Dade and Broward County.
- Must be physically capable of heavy lifting, bending, and working outdoors.
- Must speak Spanish.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work well with a team.
