Responsibilities

- Assist in menu planning and ingredient selection to ensure freshness and quality
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy hours
- Handle food with care, following proper food handling procedures to prevent cross-contamination
- Support catering events and special functions with meal preparation and presentation
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate needs for restocking ingredients and supplies
Requirements
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant settings, preferably in fine dining environments
- Strong knife skills and proficiency in various cooking techniques
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling practices
- Experience with menu planning, meal preparation, and food service operations
- Familiarity with dietary department protocols and dietary aide experience is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward serving guests
