Key Responsibilities:
-
Assist with managing the full recruitment process, including job postings, resume review, interviews, and reference checks.
-
Hire quality talent and place them in roles that align with their skills and the organization’s needs, ensuring a timely and efficient hiring process.

Meet deadlines and hiring cycle demands by performing all responsibilities in a timely and organized manner.
-
Assist with conducting candidate interviews (phone, virtual, and in-person) using standardized evaluation criteria.

Assist with preparing and sending offer letters, onboarding communication, and required documentation.

Assist with onboarding processes and orientation to ensure new hires meet DDD requirements and complete all documentation.
-
Represent the company’s mission and culture to new hires, fostering alignment and enthusiasm from day one.

Maintain accurate ATS records and recruitment reports.
-
Assist with preparing clean, organized reports for HR Supervisor review.
-
Assist with organizing recruitment and onboarding data for leadership presentations.
-
Represent L.I.F.E. at job fairs, hiring events, and networking opportunities.

Maintain compliance with state, federal, and organizational hiring policies.
-
Assist with tracking onboarding progress, retention data, and exit interview documentation.

Support the HR Supervisor with recruitment-related tasks and other duties as needed.

Attends departmental meetings as needed to coordinate staffing needs.

Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
-
High school diploma or equivalent.
-
Valid Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card (or eligibility to obtain).
-
Basic knowledge of recruitment processes (job postings, resume screening, interviewing).
-
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
-
Ability to maintain confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
-
1-3 years of recruiting, HR, or administrative experience
Preferred Qualifications:
-
Associate or bachelor's degree in human resources, Business, or related field.
-
Prior experience in a recruitment, HR, or administrative role (internships and volunteer work welcome).

Experience using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) or HRIS platform.
-
Familiarity with Department of Developmental Disabilities (DDD) hiring requirements and certifications.
Physical Demands:
This position requires a combination of routine administrative activity and occasional physical tasks. Employees must be able to:

Sit, communicate, and remain attentive to surroundings for extended periods

Occasionally stand, walk, bend, kneel, or reach as part of daily responsibilities

Lift and move up to 50 pounds when assisting consumers with mobility, transfers, equipment, or program materials

Push or move items up to 50 pounds, such as wheelchairs, furniture, or supplies

Maintain adequate vision (close, distance, and peripheral) to complete job-related tasks safely and effectively
