At Percy, we're building new ways to connect talented professionals with meaningful career opportunities at leading companies in the multifamily industry. We're currently seeking an Assistant Manager to help run day-to-day operations at a 90+ unit, townhome-style apartment community in Fremont, NE.
This role is ideal for a reliable, resident-focused operator who wants real autonomy and a clear path to growth. You’ll be the on-site face of the community for a predominantly Hispanic resident base. With the Property Manager checking in periodically (especially early on), this position is designed as a Property Manager-in-training opportunity for someone who wants to step into their own PM seat over time.

Responsibilities
- Serve as the day-to-day on-site point of contact for residents, prospects, and vendors
- Lease apartments and manage resident-facing communication
- Support rent collections, applications, renewals, and general office administration
- Help resolve resident concerns professionally and promptly, including difficult conversations when needed
- Maintain strong organization and follow-through while operating independently with limited daily oversight
Qualifications
- Experience in property management or a closely related customer-facing field (hospitality, senior living, HOA, storage, etc.)
- Ability to work Tuesday through Saturday (including Saturday hours)
- Willingness to complete and pass a background check and drug screen
- Strong reliability, attendance, and comfort being the senior on-site team member day-to-day
- Spanish-speaking skills are a plus, particularly to support our predominantly Hispanic resident community

- Total compensation range of approximately $45,000 to $55,000+ (base pay plus lease commissions), with top base pay up to $24/hour plus per-lease commission potential
