Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Registered Dental Hygienist to join our busy perio office. Duties
- Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup
- Conduct patient assessments by taking vital signs, medical histories, and evaluating oral health status
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care strategies
- Assist with chairside procedures such as dental restorations, sealants, and fluoride treatments using four-handed dentistry techniques
- Take and interpret medical imaging (X-rays), ensuring proper positioning and safety protocols are followed
- Review medical records and documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Maintain strict infection control standards through aseptic technique and sterilization procedures in accordance with OSHA guidelines
Qualifications
- Valid state licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist with current certification to practice
- Proficiency in dental office software such as Dentrix Ascend is highly preferred
- Experience working in general dentistry and pediatric dentistry environments is advantageous
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, and infection control practices
- Excellent patient care skills with the ability to communicate effectively and empathetically
- Ability to perform chairside assisting duties including patient positioning, instrument handing, and maintaining a sterile environment

Pay: $43.00 - $48.00 per hour
